 Heres a scan of my progress, just finished February part!

January 2022 Stiching

 Well a few months have gone by without me posting: here are some scans of my progress, sorry they are a bit fuzzy

First is my final Peppermint Purple SAL, this 2021 year long SAL is finished, but I now have to add the border!! And start the 2022 one!

Here is January for the Linen and Threads 2020 sampler, my overseas friends DJ and Sally are going to join me! I love Quakers, I am doing this one over one on 28 count Cashel linen using DMC 498. I also used this fabric and thread for my Long Dogs "The Token", I love the richness of the red. Sometime in the future I will also be doing Long Dogs Moulin Rouge and Renaissance and one of the Opus series.

I am adding the letters later on this sampler...

This was one of my two January 1st starts, the other is a very small kit, my start on this one is only in pale colours so too hard to see against the white background.

Spinning wheel lady!

 OK, here at last is my Spinning wheel lady! Just a bit of the spinning wheel to go.

There was quite a bit of stitching for the actual lady, and am pleased with the progress.

 Gosh...haven't posted in a long while.

I've also been stitching on a silhouette of a lady at her spinning wheel and the Peppermint Purple Blackwork SAL. Will post those pics soon

January 1st start and finish!!

 Just finished my rotation on this January 1st start, after I fray the edges, make the cushion and attach the stitching, I then will add a small key to the design in the centre of the dark green table.

Here is my second finish, a lavender bag which was my other January 1st start.

Of course, I still have to do the final finishing.....

Both were gifts from ages ago, I prefer evenweave and linen now so thought it was time to do them at last

First finish for 2021

 Well, at least a stitching finish, not a final finish!! Here it is, a lovely cushion design in Hardanger by Yvette Stanton

Just realised there are meant to be small beads attached in some of the spaces....oh well, thats for another day when I find the right beads!!

Cherry Blossoms Biscornu by Sweetheart tree

 As promised, here is the first side of my biscornu, just finished sewing the beads on. Rather lovely colours, its a kit by the Sweetheart Tree. I have previously started the second side which is a duplicate of the first side, but have only done the middle bit up to the eyelets.. There will be a cute pink heart in the middle of each side!!
