Whew, one day left of February, so just made it with finishing my small. I have a few bookmark kits, so thought it's time I made one:
Colours are quite pretty and an easy finish, just had to fringe the ends!! My kind of finish LOL

January 2015
Well, I haven't blogged for a long long while, but here I am again!! Above is the mandarin/lemon cheesecake that I made this afternoon, couldnt stop at one piece!
I've decided to join the WIPocalypse again, when I last did it, it was excellent to show progress on my pieces. I remember I selected a few pieces to focus on. I have made a lot of progress on The Token (one over one piece) from Longdogs and have nearly finished pages 3 and 4. First focus will be to finish pages 5 and 6, which won't be too hard as they are shorter pages. I'll post photos shortly when pages 3 and 4 are complete.
The other pieces haven't really seen light of day since I posted about them the last time. I have so many small Mill Hill ornaments "nearly" completed, I will make an effort and finish the mitten one.
Meanwhile I have been doing quite a lot of other things, lacemaking and also a new type of whitework called Sardinian, main stitch is knots. Yvette Stanton hs written the book and there are some lovely projects in it.
Well that's all for now, promise to post more pics soon.

Finished lace pieces and some recent stitching
I don't often finish a lace piece, well I do finish pieces but sometimes they have to be mounted on linen, and ends sewn in. Not my most favourite job! I am always anxious to start the next piece, but today I finished the piece below complketely even sewing all the ends in. I am quite pleased with the finish. Its a pattern by Jean Leader, a Bucks star. Below that is a bookmark I've completed from Jean too!
Now onto some stitching progress: First is the start of Zoe: by Grenadier, below that is Herz Yin Yang by Jean Louis Grandsire both Sticklounge pieces. I am keeping up at last!
